Virtual URCA Symposium begins tomorrow

Gracie Wilson, Collegian Managing Editor

The annual Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Symposium (URCA) is set to take place on April 15 virtually via Zoom.

The URCA symposium features presentations of research completed by Ashland University students and allows them to share their findings with other members of the academic community.

The AU URCA blog describes the event as “a diverse lineup including presentations about music history, poetry, website design and adolescent psychology.” Students present their findings through visual poster presentations or orally through a discussion on their respective subjects.

The presentations are free and open to the public to log in and listen or view presentation materials. The schedule for presentations and the Zoom links can be found at: https://www.ashland.edu/cas/sites/ashland.edu.cas/files/urca_schedule_handout_2020_-_virtual.pdf?t=1586376714

The first session begins at 9 a.m. and the symposium lasts until 3:15 p.m.
