On April 12 and 13 the Ashland University men’s golf team took a trip to Springboro, Ohio to compete in the Wright State Invitational. The Eagles as a team finished in fifth place in the last tournament before the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) tournament.
Senior Carter Mishler led the charge for the Eagles in Springboro as he finished with a three-day total of one-over par landing him in 14th place individually. Right behind Mishler on the individual leaderboard was sophomore Mark Pillar who finished 28th place individually.
The Eagles as a team finished with a three-round total of 20-over par which was able to land them in fifth place out of 13 teams. The Wright State Invitational featured many division one programs, and the Eagles were able to make a strong showing against them with their top five finish.
