On April 2, the Ashland University women’s lacrosse team continued their quest for a second straight Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) title with a 20-6 victory over the Tiffin Dragons. Junior midfielder Lily Cain added on some support scoring three goals and dishing out four assists in the win.
Crumbacher got the scoring started just 18 seconds into the contest to give the Eagles an early lead then a few minutes later the Dragons would tie things back up at one goal apiece. Crumbacher would then score the next five goals to finish the first stanza with six goals and a four-goal lead for the Eagles.
The Eagles would then shutout the Dragons in the second quarter giving them a 14-2 lead heading into the halftime break. The Eagles would not look back continuing to find the back of the net leading to their 20-6 victory.
