For the second straight week the Ashland University women’s golf team finds themselves in the winner’s circle as they capture the NC4K classic hosted by Ohio Dominican. The Eagles as a team finished 43-over par which was 15 strokes better than Tiffin who finished in second.
The Eagles were led by three golfers finishing inside the top ten as individuals being led by freshman Anna Machamer who finished first as an individual with a two-round total of 150. Fellow freshmen Graycn Vidovic and Zoe Mort added some support finishing in the top ten as well. For Vidovic it was a tie for third with a two-round total of 155 and Mort finished in a tie for sixth after shooting a 158.
The Eagles will now carry two wins in two weeks to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship tournament which will take place in Florence, Indiana over a three-day stretch on April 16, 17 and 18.
