After starting the season by defeating both Tiffin and Findlay by decisive 7-2 margins, Ashland’s tennis team lost to Wayne State 8-1 during their opening weekend. While enjoying home court advantage, the ladies defeated Michigan Tech Saturday and Lake Superior state Sunday. The Eagles’ 4-1 record puts them in an early season tie for second place in the GLIAC behind undefeated Ferris State.
