The Ashland University baseball team traveled to Columbus, Ohio on Apr. 7 for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matchup with the Ohio Dominican Panthers. In the game, Ashland got the job done by a final score of 11-1. Due to the run rule of a lead of 10 runs after seven innings, the Eagles walked it off in the top of the eighth inning scoring their 11th run.
In the contest, the Eagles marched out 7 different pitchers. Freshman Ben Sibert was credited with the win, who now advances to 3-0 on the season. Sibert finished the day with two strikeouts, no walks, and no hits in his two innings pitched.
