An Ashland University student fell from the window of her dorm room located on the fourth floor of Clark Hall on Feb. 21. The incident was found in violation of AU’s drug policy according to the safety services log on record.

According to a statement released on Feb. 27 by Dr. Robert Pool, vice president of student affairs, the student “sustained non-life threatening injuries,” and was conscious and responsive when first responders arrived at the scene at 8:30 p.m. Friday night.

The student was taken to a nearby hospital, where she is still receiving treatment and continues to recover.
