Eagle fans ready for National Championship game

Throughout the first two games of the Elite Eight, the Eagles have felt at home just 80 miles away from Campus.

Tonight it will feel even more like home as the sellout crowd is expected to be comprised of over 95% Eagle fans.

Fans have been lining the sidewalks outside of Alumni Hall since early this afternoon hoping that they will be able to watch their team play for one final time in the 2016-17 season.

Ashland will be looking to complete their first undefeated season in school history as they will be taking on Virginia Union.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at Ohio Dominican University.

For fans back at Ashland, head over to Kates Gymnasium to catch the game on a projection screen from CBS Sports Network. The concession stand will be open.

Tune into 88.9 WRDL or WRDLFM.com to catch all of the action from tonight’s National Championship game. Coverage will begin at 6:30.
