Eagle football picked to finish third in GLIAC South

Ashland University football was selected to finish third in the GLIAC South Division in the 2014 GLIAC coaches’ preseason poll for the upcoming 2014 season. 

The Eagles finished third in the division last season after ending the year with a 5-5 (5-4) record. 

AU was predicted to finish first in the 2013 preseason poll. 

Ashland will play all four teams that received first place votes this season. The Eagles will travel to Ohio Dominican and Findlay back-to-back weeks on Sept. 20 and 27. 

AU will host Saginaw Valley State on homecoming weekend on Oct. 11. They will travel to Grand Valley State on Nov. 1. 

Ashland will open the season at home on Sept. 6 against Lake Erie College.

South Division

North Division
