The No.8 Ashland University STUNT Team hosted the No. 12-Tiffin Dragons on Saturday, Feb. 15, in a matchup that marked their fourth consecutive victory.
The Eagles came out on top, defeating Tiffin 19-9 in a solid performance on their home turf.
Senior Flyer/Tumbler Alyssa McLaughlin had another standout showing, scoring an impressive 45 points to lead Ashland to the win.
Sophomore Back/Base/Tumbler Makiah Francis earned Tumbler of the Game honors for her acrobatic work.
Finally, senior Base Mya Bowles was named Stunter of the Game for her exceptional efforts during the routine.
Looking ahead, the Eagles will hit the road for a weekend trip to Alma College on Saturday, Feb. 22, and Sunday, Feb. 23. On Saturday, they’ll face off against Central Michigan University and Mercyhurst University. The road trip will conclude on Sunday as Ashland takes on Alma College and the University of Michigan. Fans can expect more exciting action as Ashland continues its push for success this season.
