The Ashland University STUNT Team traveled to Walsh University on Friday Feb. 7, where they squared off against Hiram College and Trevecca Nazarene University for a competitive doubleheader.
In their first game of the day, the Eagles dominated the Hiram Terriers with a decisive 16-0 win.
Senior Alyssa McLaughlin led the charge for Ashland, scoring an impressive 32 points. Senior Chloe Colvin earned the honor of Tumbler of the Game, while senior Ellie Dukes was named the Stunter of the Game for her exceptional performance.
The Eagles’ second matchup of the day proved to be a tough one, as they faced the No. 9-ranked Trevecca Nazarene Trojans.
Despite a strong effort, Ashland fell short, losing 16-10 in a closely contested game. Senior Kylie Adams had a standout performance, scoring 41 points and earning the Tumbler of the Game award. Junior Emily Keeling was recognized as the Stunter of the Game for her efforts.
Looking ahead, the Eagles will return home for their highly anticipated Home Opener, where they’ll face the No. 2-ranked Davenport University Panthers, followed by a matchup against the No. 15-ranked Malone University Pioneers.
Fans can expect another exciting day of STUNT action as Ashland continues its quest for victory this season.
