The Ashland University basketball teams have had an eventful and busy season up until Dec. 19, 2022. The men have put together an exciting four-game win streak to improve their record to 6-4 overall and 4-1 in conference play. The women on the other hand continue to remain a top competitor in Division II as they remain undefeated at 12-0 on the season.

After taking on the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans on Dec. 19, they will have an extended rest before resuming play towards the late stages of December.

The women’s team looks to take on the Michigan Tech Huskies on Dec. 29 at home with tipoff set for 5:30 P.M.

The men’s team on the other hand will take a trip north to Detroit, Mich. where they will square off against the Wayne State Warriors with tipoff set for 3 P.M.

After these two nonconference contests, the Eagles will both have one more before returning to conference play for the remainder of the season. The women will travel to West Virginia to take on the West Liberty Hill Toppers on New Year’s Eve, while the men will finish off their nonconference stand as they take on Miami-Hamilton at home on Jan. 2, 2023.

For the remainder of the 2022-2023 season, the women will return to conference play before postseason play. The men will have just one more nonconference contest in January where they take on the Wilberforce University Bulldogs on Feb. 6 at Kates Gymnasium.
