After a 3-0 start the Eagles have shot up the AFCA NCAA Division II coaches poll again.

The Eagles took down the Notre Dame College Falcons in Week One 31-14. Then in the following week, they blew out a GMAC rival in the Findlay Oilers by a score of 28-3.

Week Three was another dominating victory as they improved to 3-0 on the season. After a nine-hour drive down to Quincy, Ill., they defeated the Hawks 34-14.

Before the season began they were unranked but received votes to be included in the top 25. After Week One they moved up to No. 20 in the coaches poll. After an impressive Week Two performance against the Oilers the Eagles jumped eight spots to the No. 12 spot. Now after Week Four they were slotted at No. 9 in the country.

They look to head back onto the field on Oct. 1 as they take on the Northwood Timberwolves at home with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
