The Eagles were not playing for just the win during the 2021 Homecoming game, they were playing for the man sitting on the sidelines, Austin Brenner.

Brenner, previously injured several weeks prior to today’s game, sat and watched from his wheelchair as his beloved team took on the Lake Erie Storm.

The game was blow for blow for four straight quarters. The Eagle rushing game versus the Lake Erie passing game.

Larry Martin was the bright star for the Eagles as he rushed for two of the Eagles’ Six touchdowns amassing 138 yards with 15 carries.

The Play Calling was much improved from the previous week which allowed Maddox to stretch the field passing the ball and in return kept the defense loose for the rush attack to pick away at them and burn time off the clock.

Eagles win off a botched kick from Erie 42-41 and awarded Austin Brenner the game ball.
