Ashland falls to Ohio Dominican in tough loss

From the beginning of the game it was clear that the game was going to be a tough
battle for both teams. Ashland and Ohio Dominican both drove down the field on their
opening drives and scored.
Tragedy struck in the first quarter with Ashland’s star player Austin Brenner went down
with a gruesome leg injury and did not return to the game.
The battle continued as each team had great plays on both sides of the ball involving
points, sacks, and turnovers.
Backup Quarterback Trent Maddox and the offense fought hard but as the fourth
quarter came around Ohio Dominican’s pass rush became too much of a problem for
the Eagles. Maddox was sacked, fumbled, and scooped up by the defense for a
touchdown.
Ashland takes its third loss to Ohio Dominican 34-24.
