How students are affected by the new BW3’s location

The new atmosphere of Buffalo Wild Wings feels completely new. That’s because it is. Their new building location has just finished construction in Ashland.

The building is bigger, the seats are separated more from each other and the atmosphere is chill.

It has switched locations to get more business and is now near the Walmart.

It is now right off the freeway and there are more customers that will eat there, outside of the Ashland Community.

“To be honest I actually am not a huge fan of the new location of BDubs. Yes, it looks amazing, but for students traveling that far just to go sit down and eat is kind of crazy,” stated senior, Patrick Wallace.

Walking into Buffalo Wild Wings, you are greeted with the smell of fresh paint, hearing different games by the bar and conversations with laughter.

At the front desk, people are able to see the bar that is right behind it. To the left of the bar is seating and in front of the bar is seating.

To the right of that seating is a closed off spot in a completely different room, that has the door open and is used for karaoke.

As of now, there have been more customers stopping by, one manager had said.

It also helps that they are a big restaurant and a big sit down and eat spot. Even though it has switched locations, the Ashland University students have not disappointed the service.

Even though some students are not a fan of the new location, like Patrick Wallace who stated, “I have actually stopped going as often as what I did because of how far it is from campus now.” Many students are slowly feeling the same way.

But the number of students has not changed that much.

“Initially I was bummed because I was hoping they could just build one of the new, nicer ones in the same location as the old one (like they did with the Wendy’s). But now, I understand that the new location is a better financial decision in wanting to attract more business,” commentated Taylor Randles, on the location.

Buffalo Wild Wings has many changes outside of the redesign, including many televisions and an indoor patio where they can hold parties and business meetings.

They also have karaoke on Wednesdays and trivia Tuesdays still, which are played in a separate room altogether.

“We are willing to help out Ashland in any way possible, like with fundraisers and more. Plus we thank the Ashland University students for being so loyal to us, even when we have changed locations,” one of the managers, Nick Dezort said.
