The Ashland University Men’s Basketball Team is ranked No. 8 in the nation and are sitting atop of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Eagles are 14-1 and lead the GLIAC in the defensive categories of points per game and field goal percentage.

Junior center Drew Noble was named to the Bevo Francis Award watchlist for the player with the finest season within Small College Basketball. Sophomore guard Aaron Thompson leads the GLIAC in rebounds per game (9.8) and Bowling Green transfer Rodrick Caldwell averages over 14 points per game.

The Eagles will face Saginaw Valley State at home on Thursday night after a two game road trip that involved their first lost of the season.
