It is finally fall and as the cold weather approaches, it is the perfect time for warm clothes, hot drinks, and cozying up in a blanket to binge watch your favorite shows. If you are in need of shows to watch this fall, read through the editor’s picks to find your new favorite.

“FRIENDS”
If you are looking for a fun way to relax after a long day, put on one of the classics.
FRIENDS is one of those shows that no matter how many times you watch it it is still funny. Each episode is just over 20 minutes long making it the perfect study break. Join a group of six friends as they journey through life with plenty of twists and turns along the way. If nothing else the theme song will make you sing along and smile! -Noah Cloonan

“How I Met Your Mother”
If you want something equally as comical, but a little more modern check out How I met Your Mother. How I Met Your Mother is a story about Ted, a man in New York City who is telling his kids how he met their mother. The story revolves around five friends who spend way too much time in a bar as their friend Ted searches for love.
These short episodes are guaranteed to make you laugh and maybe cry a little. It’s gonna be Legend-wait for it-dary, Legendary! -NC

“The West Wing”
Aaron Sorkin’s The West Wing is about as close of a look as most of us will get into the White House. This NBC political drama follows fictional President Josiah Bartlet (Martin Sheen) and his senior staff as they tackle things from day-to-day issues from national crises. The show was a hit during its initial 1999-2006 run and was able to snag 26 Emmy wins. Even if you are not a politician yourself, there are still things to love about The West Wing, like its fantastic dialogue and its ability to humanize the presidency. “Gilmore Girls”
Few things are better than watching a TV show with a theme song that is impossible to resist singing along to. Get yourself hooked on Gilmore Girls and visit the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut with your new best friends Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her daughter Rory (Alexis Bledel). This show explores themes like friendship, class issues, romance, and generational divides with fast-paced storytelling. The show follows a mother-daughter relationship, but is able to capture even more than that as the audience watches Rory grow from a doe-eyed high schooler to a college graduate. All of the episodes are available on Netflix and the success of the show even inspired a Netflix revival series, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. -RB

“Gravity Falls”
In a Disney Channel animated show created by Alex Hirsch, twins Dipper and Mabel Pines spend the summer with their great-uncle Grunkle Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon. They help him run The Mystery Shack, Grunkle Stan’s tourist-trap brainchild. However, something about the town is a bit off, and when Dipper discovers a cryptic journal with information on all things supernatural and mysterious, he and Mabel use it to uncover the secrets of the town.

I absolutely love this show! Alex Hirsch is a genius, there are so many conspiracy theories weaved into the show, the characters are well developed and feel real, and the storyline is very rich. Every episode ends with a flash of a picture from the journal that relates to the next episode, and it is very difficult to decipher. -Kaitlyn Moore

“The Office”
“The Office” is a nine season long documentary about the lives of the people who work for Dunder-Mifflin, a paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania, led by deluded boss Michael Scott (played by Steve Carell).

First, Jim and Pam. OTP. Second, this show is so real and relatable that you can not help but be invested in the lives of everyone in the office, even if you may not like them. Sometimes it goes too far, sometimes it makes you cry, but mostly is makes you laugh about the human condition. I like the last 5 seasons the best. -KM

“Supernatural”
If you’re looking for a long show to watch and you have an interest in all things spooky and paranormal, “Supernatural” is the show for you. The show revolves around two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, who continue their family’s business of saving people from all of the monsters and things that go bump in the night. This show is still running on the CW, so even if you watch all 12 seasons that are currently on Netflix, you will not have to deal with the black hole of sadness that happens when you reach the end of a show, you can just continue watching it. -Bex Hunter

“Queer As Folk”
Queer as Folk follows a group of gay friends living in Pittsburgh. It explores their jobs, relationships, families, struggles and all around everyday life. It is a drama filled show that is both funny and heartfelt, making it a good show to just binge watch for hours. There are five seasons that are all available on Netflix and it aired from 2000 to 2005, so it definitely has some of those early 2000’s vibes that we all know and love. -BH

“Grey’s Anatomy”
If you are looking for a TV show that will break your heart, kill off everyone you love and drag you through an emotional roller coaster every episode, then Grey’s Anatomy is the show for you! The show is brought from the crazy mind of Shondra Rimes and it will for sure make you into one of those people that ugly cries from fictional tv shows. Grey’s Anatomy follows the unfortunate life of Meredith Grey and her life as a general surgeon at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. For the past 12 years, Grey’s Anatomy has been one of the best dramas on TV and also features some very good looking doctors as well. Also, after watching the show a few times you will feel like a doctor yourself. -Bree Gannon

“Family Guy”
If you are looking for something other than a drama and you like crude humor and a lot of inappropriate jokes, then you should probably watch Family Guy. Over the past 18 years and through a cancellation, Family Guy has been making its fans laugh at dumb jokes as viewers follow the lives of the Griffin family. During the show you encounter all of the family members, their friends and the townspeople of Quahog, Rhode Island. Family Guy is the show that I can watch everyday and always find something new to laugh at. No it is not like American Dad and yes, they did steal some things from The Simpsons.
Family Guy touches on events that are important ,while adding its own comical spin to it, and can be found on Netflix. -BG
