For this edition of the Secret Menu and possibly for the rest of the Secret Menus, I turned to Convo to satiate my hunger.

The Tuesday night dinner offered the same as it usually does. Because hamburgers are such a frequent item at the grill corner, I decided to make sure they made the cut. On my way over to get a tasty beverage to wash my burger down with, I noticed the pizza station had cheesy sticks. I’m sure you are aware but they give you three of those suckers stuck together with cheese and grease, ‘merica!

The Big Cheesy Burger is a double cheese burger with a slab of cheese sticks in the middle. The burger is then dipped in a sauce made from a mixture of ketchup, hot sauce and ranch. I added fries, got my dirty glass, filled it with tea and found a seat.

After answering a few quick questions as to why I’m doing it, I took my first bite. My response was a lot like if I would have taken a bite out of a Big Kahuna Burger.

“Mmm-mmmm, that is a tasty burger,” to quote Jules from the movie “Pulp Fiction.”

Besides being a little hard to take a bite out of, the combination of that much cheese and grease is never really going to come out bad. The Big Cheesy Burger with or without the sauce is by far, the best hamburger I have ever eaten in Convo.

I took the chance of going strictly for the meat, cheese and bread but lettuce, pickles or onions could definitely be added. The burger was messy but not horribly hard to keep together long enough to devour.

I’m not sure how many arteries I clogged but I’m pretty sure it was worth it.

Next time Convo offers the combo and I’m hungry enough, The Big Cheesy Burger will be on my plate again.

With fries and a drink, this is quite a meal.

This meal was actually one of the best I have had in Convo and I’m in my final semester of year four. Overall, I’ll give The Big Cheesy Burger an A in my book.

Considering these are my final days in Convo, I’ll dedicate the rest of the Secret Menus to Convo.
