The Ashland tennis team is no longer perfect in the spring season, dropping their first match since Oct. 22. While at Indianapolis, the ladies defeated Bellarmine 7-2 Friday and also edged out Rockhurst Saturday, 5-4. Ashland ran into trouble against Indiana (Pa.) Sunday falling by the same score they beat Rockhurst by, 5-4.
Bellarmine
Besides Victoria Goudy losing in first singles, the Eagles were perfect in singles action. Erika Sullivan, Paige Cooper, Corinne Pasley, Kira Kotova and Alexandra Ware combined to defeat their opponents, 60-4 in singles play.
Pasley and Ware struggled in doubles play losing to Jamie Claeys and Emily Roebker, 8-6. Goudy and Cooper won first doubles while Sullivan and Kotova took third doubles.

Rockhurst’s Maureen Rielley and Rachel Lanaghen defeated Pasley and Ware while Sullivan and Kotova were outscored 9-7 in third doubles.
Indiana (Pa.)
