Eagles serve up dominating victories to finish season

   Ashland University tennis, ranked fifth nationally, completed an undefeated weekend with matches against Walsh University and Malone University. The women swept each of the matches 9-0, with only one singles match going to a third set.

   Sophomore Erika Sullivan, the Eagles’ number two singles player, did not lose a game all weekend. She is 12-7 for the season and has won her last eight times out on the court in singles play.

   Freshman Kira Katova won her matches in straight sets as well and improved to 24-1. She has won sixteen straight singles matches.

   The Eagles also swept the doubles courts as they improved to 20-6 overall. They are currently awaiting bids for the NCAA tournament.
