Prayers for the Simonoski family

The Simonoski family experienced the most tragic event of their lives Aug. 21. Bilyana Simonoski’s mother, Milka, became a victim of domestic violence. Milka was brutally attacked with an axe by her ex-husband.

The injuries of the attack were so severe that she was taken, via life-flight, to Metro Health in Cleveland. Milka is still in critical condition, but she continues to fight for her life and show significant signs of improvement, giving great hope to everyone around her.

Bilyana was also injured when she bravely intervened with the attack. Bilyana is a 2011 Ashland University graduate; she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communications in May. She was involved with Club Rugby, Orientation Team and PAW. She also worked at the Recretaional Center.

This tragic incident has left a huge financial burden on the family which is unbearable for Bilyana and her siblings. Donations are being accepted and are greatly appreciated. Above all else, continue to pray for Milka. Donations and prayers are the light in this dark time for Bilyana and her siblings.
