AU Volleyball adds two promotions for Oct. 8 and 9

The Ashland University volleyball team faces one of its most important weekends of the season on Oct. 7, 8 and 9. The AU athletic marketing department has added two promotions in conjunction with that weekend.
The weekend schedule appears below.
7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 – Grand Valley State at Ashland
2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 – Ferris State at Ashland
2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9 – Saginaw Valley State at Ashland
The weekend festivities begin Friday night when the Eagles hold AU Student Night. Rally towels and water bottles will be given away that night.
On Oct. 8, the Eagles will hold Youth Day when they host Ferris State. Children ages 12 and under are invited to the game free of charge. Fans are encouraged to wear pink for this game and the Sunday date as part of AU’s “Think Pink” campaign.
The Eagles will host Family Day on Oct. 9 when Saginaw Valley State comes to Kates Gymnasium. A family of four can attend the game for $10.
The Eagles are 8-3, 6-1 in the GLIAC. Ashland is listed “Among Others Receiving Votes” in this week’s AVCA top 25 poll. Grand Valley State is ranked No. 20 in the country and Ferris State is ranked No. 23.
