Dave Coulier of Full House fame will do stand-up in Redwood

Chris Beisel

“Cut. It. Out.”

This is the famous catch phrase that one thinks of when thinking of Dave Coulier.

You may remember Coulier from growing up with him in different TV movies, such as The Thirteenth Year or The Even Stevens Movie. He has also depicted himself in various cameo appearances.

It goes without saying, however, that Dave Coulier’s claim to fame was his role as “Uncle Joey” from the 8-year running sitcom Full House.

Coulier enlightened viewers with his comical language and impressions, as well as his fatherly adoration that touched America nation-wide.

We have not yet seen the last of Coulier, especially for Ashland University students. He will be performing on campus this Friday, October 10th, at 9 p.m. in Redwood Hall.

The AU Campus Activities Board booked him for this event as an effective means of kicking off homecoming weekend.

If you haven’t picked up your ticket to the event, there is still a little bit of time!

You can pick one up at the AU Box Office (in the bottom floor of CFA) with your Student ID (The event is open to AU students only).    Coulier will wow the student-body audience on Friday night.

To prelude the evening, you can also hear an exclusive interview with him on Friday morning on 88.9 WRDL’s morning show “The Early Bird’s Word” (7:00 to 9:00 a.m.).

The hype and excitement for Homecoming weekend is continually anticipated on campus, and Coulier will fuel that energy even further.

Check out next week’s issue of The Collegian for a detailed recap of Coulier’s experiences and his Friday night performance.
