The Ashland University Volleyball team lost to the Malone Pioneers on Oct. 4 in four sets (18-25, 17-25, 25-15, 20-25). The Eagles are now 10-4 overall on the season and 5-2 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).
Junior Ravin Morgan led the team in kills and blocks, with 11 and seven respectively. She also had a .346 hitting percentage.
Juniors Abbey Queen and Marin Dixon both ended with double digit digs, with 21 and 13 respectively. Dixon also had 43 assists.
Malone moves to 4-9 overall and 3-2 in the G-MAC.
The Eagles return from their four-game road streak to face the Ursuline Arrows on their home court on Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. This will be the Eagle’s Morgan’s Message match.
