The Ashland University Womens’ Lacrosse team found a huge win against Thomas More this past Thursday, March 27 in a final score of 22-7.
The Eagles keep their spot at the top of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) with a 7-4 overall record and a 3-0 conference record. The Thomas More Saints have an overall record of 0-10 and a conference record of 0-1.
This was a fourth straight victory for the Eagles. In that stretch of wins, they have scored a total of 81 goals.
The Eagles offense contributed heavily to this win. Nine different Eagles scored one goal. Four Eagles scored four goals each with assists as well.

Junior attacker Ashley Fisher had four assists for a total of eight points. Sophomore attacker Ashley Drexler had three assists for a total score of seven points. Freshman attacker Tori Wanat contributed one assist for a total of five points. Junior attacker Carlie Wilson also scored four goals.
17 out of 22 of the goals were assisted. The Eagles had a 34-17 shots advantage, while forcing a school-record 29 Saints turnovers. This is the third time in 2025 that the Eagles have set a new single-game record for turnovers forced.
Next up for the Eagles is a home game at Ferguson Field on Monday, March 31 at 2 p.m. versus Maryville.
