On the last night of January, CAB hosted a “Hobby Hangout” in Redwood Hall.
After scanning their IDs at the door, AU students were able to choose from a variety of different colored fabrics. After choosing two different colors, students found a spot on the open floor and began making a tie blanket.
The large, open hall soon became a cozy space to craft, with music and laughter in the air.
A second “hobby” station was also provided. Plain, white coffee mugs were handed out along with a variation of paint markers.
In between crafts, students visited the potato bar, where they could choose from regular French fries, waffle fries, potato wedges, and more.
By the end of the night, the floor of Redwood was covered in colorful tie blankets, and students also had uniquely decorated coffee mugs to take home with them.
