Recently, the Career Center for Life Calling had the United States Marine Corps come in for tabling.
The table was adorned with flyers and information plus a Recruiter for the Marine Corps greeted Ashland University students to those interested.
“My job is to help college students apply to officer candidates’ school for marine corps and to ultimately help them commission as marine officers after graduation of college,” said Captain Paul Rispoli, a selection officer for the Marine Corps.
As a Recruiting Officer for the northeast Ohio area, it makes Ashland University one of the schools that they are assigned to.
“I’m here to help college students see if this is the right program for them if they can qualify for it and to see if it’s something we can help them apply towards,” said Rispoli.
The Career Center for Life Calling’s goal is to empower students to navigate their career-life journey successfully with skill development and relationship building.
The organization provides and collaborates workshops, career fairs, and employer networking events for student professional development opportunities.
For students looking for an internship, a job on campus, or help on a resume for future positions they can stop by the organization’s office on floor eight of the Archer Library for more information.
