On Nov. 1, Ashland University’s Campus Activities Board (CAB) held an event to bring students together and play board games.
The event was called “Win the Game, Win the Game.” Students could choose from a large array of different board games to play with their friends.
Some of the options to pick from were ones that were popular when many of the students were younger like “Chutes and Ladders”, “Candyland”, and “Hungry Hungry Hippos.” There were also newer games as well, like the “Wordle” board game.
After the students are done with the game they have chosen, the winner of the game gets to keep the game, then they can go back up to the table where all the games were located and choose a new game to play.
At the event, there was also a dip bar for the students to have a snack while playing their favorite childhood game.
Every 30 minutes, some of the members of CAB would come around to every table and have students spin a wheel to win a prize. The prizes would be the winner’s choice of Taco Bell, Pizza, or McDonalds.
