Last Friday, Ashland University CAB hosted one of its most popular events of the year, grocery bingo. It was the first time this new school year that CAB hosted it.
Grocery bingo is what it sounds like. You play rounds of bingo, and once you get the bingo necessary, you win a prize such as food. It consists of desserts, drinks, snacks, and much more.
Bingos would consist of the basic five in a row. However, CAB also decided to put a twist on the game. Players would have to try to get the middle and top row to form a “T.” With other games trying to get a box in the corner of the card.
Students were excited about this event, so much so that CAB ran out of tables and chairs. Students would have to sit on the floor or lean against the wall.
Ashland students were not just excited for the food that was up for winning. Most students were excited to win a Nintendo Switch. To win the Nintendo Switch, you had to have a blacked-out card, which is getting every spot filled out on your card.
