Ashland University’s Campus Activities Board recently selected junior, Hannah Mantle as its co-leader.
After arriving at Ashland as a first-year student, Mantle decided to join CAB with the hope of making an impact on campus, as well as having previously been involved in planning activities in high school. She also joined the executive board during her first year, becoming a co-chair.
While taking on this role, Mantle has been able to lead the organization and accompany them as they become leaders themselves. She oversees events that are created by the organization and lends a hand wherever needed, while also working to create and share social media content for AU students who are interested in the events.
Mantle explained that she has also attended The National Association for Campus Activities Conference for the past two years, where she aided with the recruitment and retention process within CAB.
“CAB has provided me with many leadership opportunities that have built my resume and are setting me up for future success within my career path,” said Mantle on what CAB has offered her.
While the organization has given her many opportunities and new skills, she lastly went on to tell the personal connections that she has made while being a part of CAB.
“It has also given me the bestest of friends that I couldn’t have met anywhere else,” said Mantle.
