On Aug. 24, a collision between a car and a motorcycle occurred in Ashland, Ohio, resulting in one person in hospital.
The accident happened at 12:22 a.m. at the intersection of Claremont Ave. and College Ave. An AU veteran student called Ashland Police Division.

Steven Short, an AU safety services officer, said camera footage shows the motorcycle driving north on Claremont Ave towards Downtown Ashland, while the Ford Fusion was traveling south on Claremont Ave and preparing to turn onto King Rd.
The motorcycle stopped at the traffic light, slowly moving forward, but then accelerated.
The vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.
“We don’t know who is at fault,” said Sgt. Jonathan Kohler, an officer of the Ashland Police Division.
According to local authorities, no alcohol was involved.
The motorcycle driver was transported to Mansfield Hospital. The motorcycle driver’s condition remains unknown.
The Ford Fusion driver and the passenger, two young females, were not injured. One of them claimed to be a high school student. They refused to give any further comments.
