On the Nov. 28 Student Senate meeting, they discussed the upcoming Eagle Talk they will be hosting next week. 

Eagle Talk is in place of the meeting next week and it is mandatory for the Senators to attend. It will be at 7 p.m. and there will be a coffee and a hot chocolate bar as well as pizza.  

The purpose of Eagle talk is to have students, faculty, and others attend an event to voice their opinions, thoughts or concerns relating to the Student Senate. 

“Think of it like a mixer with the faculty,” said Alena Aguayo, VP of the Senate. 

Eagle Talk will also have fun games for the people attending to take part in. 

It’s hopeful that this year will be just as successful as before since last year’s Eagle Talk went very well according to those who attended and had a great turnout.  

Student Senate meetings are hosted in the ABCD conference room in the Hawkins-Conard Student Center every Tuesday at 9:30 p.m.
