Just in time for National Recycling Day, Recreation & Wellness and Building Services will be co-sponsoring the event, “Recycle/Donate Day” on Monday, Nov. 6. The AU Wellness newsletter stated, “Don’t want, don’t need, donate!”
This event will take place on Monday, Nov. 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Rec Center gym courts.
Anyone interested in this event can donate clothing, toys, kitchen items, knick-knacks, home decor, and other items suitable for donating. These can be dropped off at the rec center on Nov. 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
You can “shop” these donated items from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All leftover items will be donated to local Ashland charities including Living Water Ministries, Ashland County Cancer Association, and ACCESS Ashland.
