The Eagles had a mixed showing last night against the Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines losing the first game 4-3 but then coming back with a 6-2 win.
In the opener, the Eagles and Wolverines went back and forth scoring runs throughout the second and third innings before the Wolverines found a way to score in inning five and six, taking a 4-2 lead.

The hits came from senior Sarah Alley, junior Kalene Freshour, sophomore Marissa Caraballo and freshman Katie Mitchell, who all had two hits each.
Although the Eagles were victorious in their second game, they had to climb back from a 2-0 deficit.
It was not until the second inning when Ashland was able to grasp the lead with two RBI-singles by juniors Alexis Van Horn and Ally Farrah and another RBI but junior Jenny Raguz.
Senior Jen Moore went 3-for-4 scoring one run and Raguz went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and one run. Caraballo also went 2-for-3, and was able to score two runs for the Eagles.
Senior pitcher Brittany Flanagan improved her record to 6-3. She allowed to runs and three walks, and struck out four.
The one win and one loss altered the Eagle’s overall record to 13-14. The team remains 3-3 in the GLIAC, which they will return to compete in this weekend as they look to face Ohio Dominican on April 2.
