Ashland University’s Madrigal Feaste returns for its 47th rendition, and with it, come auditions for Madrigal players, the Feaste’s wacky improv sidekicks.
Interested students can find information on the call board outside the scene shop on the first floor of the Center for the Arts. Madrigal player auditions are scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in CFA 242. Walk-in auditions will also be accepted.
According to Leanna Uselton, jester and playwright in charge, “being a Madrigal player is a low time commitment and brings a lot of enjoyment into the fall semester.”
The Madrigal Feaste will take place on Dec. 1- 4 in Redwood Hall at 6:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.
The long-standing dinner-theatre experience is presented by the AU music department and includes a four-course meal with medieval-style entertainment. The Feaste is highly regarded as a family-friendly performance, with fun for guests of all ages.
More information can be found by contacting Leanna Uselton at [email protected].
