Ashland University’s President Dr. Carlos Campo announced on Friday, August 11, that he would be leaving the university after “homecoming and commencement.”
While the specific date is not official, he implied that he will be around until the end of the 2023-24 Academic Year.
The reason for the sudden change stems from an “unexpected leadership opportunity” that Dr. Campo and his wife, Karen Campo, accepted.
He also specified in his announcement video that more details and conversations will be held in the future.
