ACN to hold 8th annual John D. Stratton conference on Feb. 24-25

Kimberly Brazwell is this year’s headline speaker for the ACN’s annual John D. Stratton Conference

The Ashland Center for Nonviolence (ACN) is set to hold its 8th annual John D. Stratton Conference on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24-25. This year’s theme for the conference is “Welcoming the Stranger.”

On Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., the conference will kick off with this year’s keynote speaker Kim Brazwell, CEO and founder of KiMISTRY, a storytelling strategy consulting firm that specializes
in training, coaching, program, and professional development with an emphasis on trauma
informed social justice.

Brazwell will present “Creating Braver, Safer Spaces with Courage and Reliability,” which will be held in the Trustees Room of the John C. Myers Convocation Center and is free and open to the public.

The second day of the conference, Feb. 25, will feature a series of presenters from across a variety of disciplines and will start at 8 a.m. in the Dauch College of Business and Economics.

Registration is required for the second day of the conference and can be completed by visiting the Ashland University website.
