Two bodies found in Ashland home

A third body found in Madison Township is linked to two bodies found in Ashland early Tuesday morning.
At a press conference this afternoon Ashland Chief of Police David Marcelli confirmed that they had taken a man into custody at an Ashland house where a woman who had been abducted called the police from the location at around 6:40 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Ashland police found the woman alive and upon searching the house found the remains of two bodies. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation was at the scene on the 300 block of Covert Court along with Ashland police and fire.
Authorities were led to a third body in Madison Township on Tuesday afternoon by the man in custody linked with the abduction of the Ashland woman. The third body was found in a house that had burned down in June.
The Ashland County coroner will not be able to investigate the bodies until the BCI is finished investigating and processing the scene.
The local American Red Cross chapter was on the scene providing food for the first responders and are expected to be there until late Wednesday, along with the BCI.
