The Ashland Eagles women’s soccer team got back to their winning ways after their trip to Illinois vs Quincy University.

Morgan Bittengle’s goal in the final moments of regulation lifted the Eagles to a 1-0 victory over a nationally ranked Quincy team.

The Eagle offense was held without a shot in the first half, but they found their groove in the second half putting five shots on goal.

Goalkeeper, Courtney Barker, came away with a clean sheet as she stopped all seven shots on goal by Quincy University.

The ladies will play their first game at home on Tuesday versus West Liberty at 6 pm.
