Cricket Wireless Store opens in Ashland
October 6, 2016
A new Cricket Wireless store opened about three weeks ago in the Ashland Walmart Supercenter.
Cricket Wireless moved into the area because the “demographics were great” according to Robert Cena, the Area Operations Manager for Cricket.
“We are here to help people bring down their monthly payments,” Cena said, “You don’t need to be getting a two year contract with these other companies.”
The store opening can help both Ashland residents and Ashland University students to bring down their monthly rates, according to Cena.
“Students are always tight on their cash so it’ll give them the reliability that they need, anywhere in Ohio,” Cena said, “I mean, it’s affordable, and it works really good.”
Cena said that at Cricket there is also “no credit check, no contract, and better coverage than T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, and Metro PCS.”
Cricket Wireless is now offering a deal for switching over to their phone service.
“Right now for switching over from Verizon, T-Mobile, and all those little pre-paid companies, right now we’re giving away a free phone, so that’ll be the perfect opportunity for them to save some cash.”
The new store is now hiring. To apply “just come fill out an application” said Cena.
The Ashland Cricket Wireless store is open Monday through Saturday from 10a.m.-7p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m.-5 p.m. Students can call the store at 419-207-9775 or go online to https://www.cricketwireless.com/
