A week before the big homecoming game, Greek life, student-run clubs and other organizations all participated in painting the student center windows to show students and alumni school spirit.

The window painting took place on Oct. 2 and provided materials for the clubs to get their creative minds in action.

The window paintings used a variety of colors especially AU’s colors, purple and gold.

 Many even used purple and gold and made a football painting to support the AU football team, while others were showcasing the fun or importance of their organization.

“A painting that really stood out to me was Theta Phi Alpha’s,” Cait Davis said. “They replaced the pumpkin in PSL with a penguin for their mascot and it was really cute!”

Some window paintings are still up and can be seen inside the student center.
