For the 2022-2023 season the Ashland Symphony Orchestra (ASO) Board of Directors has implemented new ticket pricing options.

Children and student tickets will now be free with the purchase of an adult or senior (65 and up) ticket, compared to the regular priced tickets– $24 for adults and $21 for seniors. Although there is no limit, free tickets are only available at the door or by phone.

Tickets can also be purchased for $5 each to benefit the ASO.

College and high school students who are not attending with an adult or senior have the option of a Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) offer and purchase two tickets for the $5 price.

According to the press release, “Participants in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and Medicaid may purchase an adult or senior ticket for $5.”

However there must be proof of participation within the programs to receive the reduced price. For college students within those programs, proof of ID and proof of participation is necessary. This option is also only available via phone or at the door.

According to Rebecca Owens, ASO board member and secretary, “Providing opportunities to experience the Arts in Ashland County regardless of economic status is vital to our community. The ASO feeds the mind, body and soul. We want everyone to have a chance to enjoy the Jewel of Ashland County.”
