In the final match, match three, the Eagles went back and forth winning a round and losing one. Heading into the final round with the score tied 2-2 the team held strong.

“We didn’t hang our heads and I think that was crucial in the final round,” said Howman.

The Eagles were able to secure the final round and take home a 3-2 match win, and a 3-0 series win.

In match three, the Eagles saw all four team members with over 35 kills a piece in the victory.

“I’m really proud of how well the team played,” said COD team member Connor Milne. “The guys bounced back after a devastating loss last week and played strong against a strong team in Glenville. When things got close we showed incredible resiliency and the work we’ve put in has shown that.”
